This month I’m looking forward to the cool mornings and the long lazy nights. I relish the thought of awakening while it is still dark, stumbling my way into the kitchen (can’t turn on the lights yet), and making my first cup of coffee. There’s something about the smell of coffee in the autumn that brings joy to my heart.
Joy comes in many different ways. What are some of the things that you do that bring you joy? Do you have some autumnal rituals that you look forward to?
Taking an honest look at yourself often begins a personal reflection process that allows you to embrace and acknowledge all the things that bring you joy. Being in this space helps you recognize that your world is a reflection of who you are. This realization can lead to taking action to do things differently.
For example, imagine that the your life is an orchestra and you are the conductor – what music are you creating? Are you creating symphonies or noise?
Playing symphonies causes you to feel and express joy, love yourself and experience feelings of peace. Your energy is at a higher vibration and you attract the things you desire. Noise often shows itself as clutter and tolerations. You have feelings of sadness, unease, unhappiness and general disapproval of self. Your energy is at a lower vibration and you attract the things you don’t want.
Realizing that you have the authority to create your own music is a powerful way to live. At the same time, it opens up infinite possibilities for creating the life you dream of. Simply by asking yourself questions and listening to your answers you’re the creator of your world, playing your music. This gives you clarity and focus as you accept your circumstances, recognizing that it is but a reflection of who you’re being at the time.
Take some time this month and begin your personal reflection process that leads to creating the life you desire. Treat yourself with gentle kindness. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to do your process. There is no ONE roadmap to follow.
What is it worth to you to take full responsibility to create your own music for your life? Just Imagine!

Expressing one’s self in music IS joyous – and the analogy of music is a wonderful way to see ourselves creating our lives… in symphony, as rock stars, in lullabies, humming along in our day to day activities. Thanks, Inez, for your words of ageless wisdom. ~Hobby

I love the way you have expressed this here – we hear so so often that we can create what we want with our lives, but I LOVE the idea of viewing my life in terms of music!
Thanks for the inspration.

Beautiful music is so delightful! Music has the power to calm, to soothe, to excite, to energize, and to make sad among other things.
This is a thoughtful post, Inez, because it causes me to stop and think what type of music I\\\\\\\’m playing for myself. I think sometimes I play beautiful, harmonious, delightful music for others, but for myself the notes may be a bit discordant and off key. I need to do so evaluation. Thanks for the reminder.
