ASOT: Pinnacle Award Recipient!

I am so excited!  The book “Americans Saving Ourselves Together: How to Thrive in the 21st Century” has received the Pinnacle Award.  I am one of the co-authors and am thrilled to receive this honor with my fellow co-authors.

The testimonial below shows how reading this book can change your life.

“My experience after I read Americans Saving Ourselves Together: How to Thrive in the 21st Century” by Daya Devi-Doolin and six other female co-authors from across America, is something that I just had to share with everyone!

I had a rough week about a month ago and I have to say, I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. We had put away some money for my husband and I to go to a family member’s graduation. Just like many other times, it seems that every time that you do that, the car breaks down, or you get a speeding ticket, or you get an unexpected bill. Well guess what?  That’s what happened during the “meltdown.”

I got to my nail salon and sitting there with a cleared schedule, I had a book looking at me, as I stared back.  I thought hmmmmm, I think I might read you considering my friend Daya gave you to me as a gift.   Truly, it was just that, a gift… a lesson in fact.

I learned that I wanted to succeed in living a rich life, a life that is rich should I say…….

That day happened to be a Tuesday and I thought to myself after reading the entire book that afternoon, it’s time I took it upon myself to get out of my rut.

I picked up my children, got some groceries and some wine and just enjoyed my family. After all in these testing times, we tend to forget what the true meaning and value of life is.

Life is magnificent and like the yin and the yang there will be balance.

Although there are times you don’t know which way to turn, this testimony might make you realize look no further. Learn, Listen, Love, Live, and Laugh. It takes a book and people who write them to let us know we are all in this together.”

Thank you Daya!

Boomer women: listen to your body!

This is a glorious day.  I awakened this morning to birds singing and bright sunshine; bounded out of bed and went for a walk.  I’ve been a little derelict in walking this winter and choose to blame it on the weather.  Today’s weather is no exception, still cold for Florida, chose to walk anyway.

Am I glad I did!  My body is singing and saying thank you.  You’re finally paying attention to my requests.  Boomer women, it’s not always easy to listen to your body.  In fact it’s not always easy to hear what’s being said by anyone.  Choosing to listen to your body and then act on your body’s request allows you to live a healthy more fulfilled life.

Your body not only talks to you about exercise, if you pay attention, you’ll hear it telling you about your food choices, your relationships and much more.  You can become so aware of your body that you can hear organ by organ and system by system making their healthy desires known.

Boomer women, does this sound like poppycock to you?  It used to sound like that to me too, until I decided to try it.  Little by little I’ve found that by listening I’m not making some of the choices I used to make.  Choosing differently frees me to really create the life I desire and deserve.

You too can choose differently and be empowered to continue on your path to creating the life you desire and deserve.

Tap into your unlimited power boomer women

Boomer women do you know you possess unlimited power!  Your power has shown up in spurts over the years when something happened and you just took charge and made everything okay.

Imagine what your life would be like if you consciously tap into this power daily.  Knowing that you have this power and that you can harness it anytime you want makes you unstoppable.  Think for a minute about something you’ve been putting off or feeling just a little off center about.

Ask yourself “what about this is causing me unease and to put it off”.  This is the beginning of tapping into your glorious, inherent power, your inner self that is connected with the Divine.  Once you ask the question be willing to accept the answer and be okay with it.  Accepting the answer and being okay can lead to asking more questions.

So now boomer women you’re thinking, “when do I stop asking”, you stop asking questions about the issue when you resonate with the answer, when the answer propels you to take action or non-action.

Tapping into your inherent, unlimited power empowers you to move through the fear, move through the negative beliefs and attitudes.  This unlimited power allows you to boldly decree and know that you are creating the life you desire and deserve.
