How to think without limits!

Wednesday’s Inspirational Thought!

No Limits!
Thinking is a major part of your daily activities. You’re thinking about something ALL of the time, even when you’re not aware of it. Your mind thrives on the ‘busyness’ of thinking. Sometimes you wonder “where did that come from”.
Just for today, pay attention to your thoughts and the limits you set. It could be as simple as “I’d really like to go out to a nice restaurant but ….” Your ‘but’ is your limitation. What if you remove the ‘but’ and become aware of all the ways you can go to dinner at a nice restaurant.
For example, if your ‘but’ were money; that can easily be eliminated because there are “early bird specials”, daily specials, chef’s specials and the list is endless.
If your ‘but’ were “I’m single and can’t eat out alone;” that too can easily be remedied, start observing all the single people you see out and about doing the things they enjoy. You too can embrace that freedom!
Take a few minutes each day to visualize the restaurant, the setting, the food and you sitting there having a delicious meal. Continue this practice, then go into a restaurant and have your delicious meal.
You are now practicing thinking without limits! I’d love your feedback and comments.

3 Ways to Stand Powerfully
The bullies of the school yard have become the bullies of the workplace. Imagine working for someone who has perfected their bullying behavior and are now your supervisor!
Are you living in fear, showing up as their targeted victim or do you affirm yourself and stay in your power? Are you focused on the negative, or consciously creating a positive?
My plea is that you will stop, reflect, and focus; meditate, pray or in some way send out positive energy to dissolve the fear that is holding you hostage.
At this time, it is most significant for you to affirm yourself and maintain a healthy self-esteem. While you may not want to stand up to the “boss”, you don’t have to cower in your cubicle.
1. Honor what is most important to you. If you have ever felt afraid and unsure of yourself in a situation you already know how uncomfortable fear can be. Step into your power, know who you are and stop worrying about what people think of you.
2. Stand up for what you want. Do you make the mistake of not speaking up because of fear? You have the knowledge and experience to stand up for what you want while making others feel comfortable.
3. Feel confident and powerful. Remember when you were in high school and you felt invincible. Just imagine recapturing that feeling and spirit by releasing your fear. Renewed insights into your abilities will transform your interactions with people.
Too often we have trouble asking for what we want and standing in our power. Imagine what it would be like to find your voice and “bellow” your request. Standing firmly in your power means honoring your beliefs and values while requesting what you absolutely desire. YOU deserve it!
